Telehealth therapy · Teens & young adults · Public educators
You don't have to figure this out alone.
Telehealth individual therapy for Colorado teens, young adults, and public educators with a human touch. Here for you wherever you are in your journey, whenever you're ready.
A space that grows with you
Welcome to Wildflower Wellness! I'm Kelly A. Smith, founder and Licensed Professional Counselor. I believe that healing doesn't have to feel clinical or intimidating. My practice is built on a foundation of warmth, curiosity, and genuine human-to-human connection in order to create authentic growth.
I work exclusively with clients in Colorado via telehealth, which means you can access support from the comfort of your own space — no commute, no waiting room, just a quiet hour that belongs entirely to you.

Our work together
Anxiety & Overwhelm
Racing, anxious thoughts are a compass that point us toward emotions or parts of ourselves that need extra tender loving care. We'll work together to find calm and build tools that actually help.
Life Transitions
Big changes like starting college, leaving home, and figuring out who you are can feel destabilizing. Therapy can help you build strong roots while everything else shifts.
Identity & Self-Worth
Everyone deserves to build trust in themselves and their abilities, to feel at home in their own skin. Working with a therapist can help you feel grounded and authentic in the real you.
About Kelly
My goal is to create a therapeutic space that feels safe, supportive, and genuinely human. I approach therapy with humility, humor, and authenticity, and I value building a strong, collaborative relationship with each person I work with. My practice is trauma-informed, gender-affirming, and neurodiversity affirming.
I work primarily with teens and young adults (ages 16–30) who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity questions, and the weight of just trying to keep up. Whether you're dealing with school stress, relationship struggles, or a gut sense that something feels 'off', you don't have to figure it out alone. I also enjoy supporting public educators, drawing on my 10+ years of experience in special education and general education as a paraeducator, substitute teacher, and school counselor in Jefferson County. I aim to create a tailored and responsive relationship based on a common understanding of the unique joys and demands of your work in public education.
Outside of therapy, I live in the Denver metro area with my husband and our two cats. I enjoy reading, cheering on Colorado sports teams, volunteering in my community, and engaging in social justice work.

My approach
Therapy with me isn't about fixing you because I don't believe that you are broken. Together we will honor the life you've already lived and building the tools, insight, and self-compassion to navigate your present and future with more ease.
Collaborative and Strengths Based
You're the expert on your own life. I'm here to ask good questions and help you find your own answers.
Evidence-based
I use approaches that research shows actually work. I adapt tools to fit who you are, not a one-size-fits-all formula.
Affirming
My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and culturally sensitive. All identities are welcome here.
